welcome

The mission of First Immanuel Lutheran Ministries is to reach up to God, to reach out to others,and reach out to the world.

As a vital ministry of First Immanuel Lutheran Ministries the purpose of our school is to "Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old, he will not depart from it,” Proverbs 22:6.  By following this verse we will develop the whole child − academically, artistically, physically, socially and spiritually - by providing a Christ centered, quality education for the children of the First Immanuel congregation and the surrounding communities so they may through God’s Word and Sacraments:

-Identify themselves as children of God and members of Christ’s body;

-Know God and His forgiving love in Jesus Christ and respond to that love with lives of Christian faith, worship, service, love, and hope;

-Relate responsibly to God’s creation by acquiring knowledge and understanding and developing talents and skills for responsible living and serving.

We believe that each one of us is in constant need of repentance and God’s forgiving grace.  We are committed to the teachings of the Holy Scriptures, Luther’s Small Catechism, as well as the applications of those teachings to our lives.  We expect that staff, parents, and students exemplify the teachings of the Bible in their daily lives as we work together to enhance the education for all children.  May God continue to bless our efforts at First Immanuel

School and District Report Cards

The Department of Public Instruction (DPI) generates Accountability Report Cards for all publicly funded schools and districts in the state. Report cards for private schools participating in the Private School Choice Program were first required for the 2015-16 school year. Choice schools did not receive any score or ratings on prior accountability report cards, since DPI only had a single year of data available for Choice students and the report cards require multiple years of data to produce a score. As such, 2016-17 is the first year that private schools participating in the Choice Program can receive overall scores or ratings if they participated in state-wide testing.

DPI produces two versions of each Report Card: a one-pager labeled “School Report Card” and lengthier, detailed version labeled, “School Report Card Detail.” Both versions can be accessed online along with resources that explain the report cards here. While our school has received a Private School – Choice Students Report Card, please note that schools that did not have sufficient data to calculate an accountability score or rating will see “NR-Data” in the top left corner. This can occur if there are too few choice students in the school.
